Wayward Republicans
Most of us are familiar with the antics of Anything But Right and his band of woeful followers. (I don't know about you but I am holding my breath waiting for his new and improved website. It would have to be an improvement, I don't know that it could get much worse but Anything But Right has a lot of potential.)
Now comes the rumor of one of Anything But Right's chief lieutenant's, let's call her British Petroleum (BP), assistance in recruiting a democrat candidate against one of the Republican incumbent reps. It's not important about who she may have recruited against but the fact that she may have done such a deed at all. She was after all the former Vice Chair of the Republican Central Committee with former being the operative word.
Disagreements and conflict within a family or in this case a party is normal and can be healthy. However, BP has long gone out of her way with the encouragement and support of Anything But Right, to take these healthy disagreements to unhealthy levels. Her crusade against Jeff Morrison for example went way beyond disagreement on issues to a personal vendetta and was apparently the beginning of her alliance with democrats.
No one seems to be able to confirm or refute BP's involvement in encouraging her democrat friend to run against the representative. Given BP's past escapades and alliances with democrats, it seems entirely possible that she did play a role. The fact that so many people can believe she MAY have had a part in this speaks to just how deeply she has earned her reputation as a wayward Republican.
